Overview
The Helping Hands cookbook has been executed with a clean playful style that adults and children will both be attracted to. The photographs of children doing age-appropriate cooking activities. In addition to photographs, fun minimal doodles are spread throughout the cookbook. All the colour blocks and doodles are imperfect, to show children that artwork even in books isn’t perfect.
The layout and typesetting have been treated in a way that newer readers will be able to read and follow along, for example, large numbers for the steps and appropriate point size. The layout has generous top and outside margins to allow for sticky notes, bookmarks and sticky fingers.
